Antique Ford & Johnson Office Chair Wood Banker Swivel Rolling 1910's

Description: Up for sale is a Ford & Johnson Swivel bankers Office Chair. I took the chair apart for ease of shipping, it needs to be restored anyway. Please see my pictures for condition. One leg is stamped patent 191 last number cant be seen. I do not know what type of wood is under all that paint. The chair has been kept in use through a variety of home repairs and repaints. The main chair seems to be solid with some cracks in the wood though. The legs have been plugged a few times it looks like and may or may not be salvageable. But they could be used as a template if you wanted to make your period correct own. The metal core of the chair does work. It could use a good cleaning. If all you want is the core a better price and lower shipping can be arranged. Please ask before purchasing however. I am not a wood worker so I don't know if the wood can be saved and or restored, but it has the metal core and this chair was destined for the dump. I had to save it. There is a bag of screws however I think only two are original and the rest are replacements over the years. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
