Description: Up for sale is a neat mounted wood toy. Its either a Zeppelin, submarine or space ship. Gives me some Jules Verne 20,000 Leagues vibes. Could also be Buck Rogers inspired. Looks like a string could go through the "fins" on the top and it could fly through the air, which would make it a zeppelin. Either way, I think its really sculptural looking. I've had it mounted on a welded stand. It slides on through the hole in the center. The hole is original and not drilled for the mount. The stand fits very tight. Its not easy to get on and off. The toys construction reminds me of the construction of early fish decoys. It has a great patina. Toy itself is 9 and half inches long. About 3 inches tall and 4 and 1/4 wide. Mounted it is about 8 and half inches tall. Mount is included. Condition: Nice condition. Some bends and rusting to the tin wings and "fins." No breaks. No repairs. All original. Great surface. Some rusting to the nails. Minor wear otherwise. Looks complete. See photos and video.
