Description: Up for sale is one of the nicer folk art carved whimsy I have ever owned. It has the two loose balls in the cage which is pretty typical but it has a fist or hand above it. The thumb is extended out otherwise I would 100 percent be certain it was a raised fist. Could be political but probably just a hand. The carving dates to around the 1920s. Found recently from a picker in Kentucky but I'm not certain where they got it. I really like the addition of the button on the wrist from the long sleeve dress shirt. Its a nicely done carving. Just under 5 and 1/4 inches tall. See can for scale. Condition: Nice condition. No breaks. All original. No repairs. Dry surface. Some staining to it around the wrist of the hand and just under it. See photos and video to assess condition.
