Description: Up for sale is a very neat cast iron flint and walling water pump! This pump was actually removed from a basement of a house located around central Iowa that was built in 1908! The pump itself is not from 1908 however but since I know a little of the back story of this item I figured Iād pass it along! The previous owner believed that the pump was used for a backup water supply system and was used in the late 1930s to early 40s. This pump is untested and I imagine it will need a good cleaning and checked out prior to be back in working condition. Has a Pat date along the one side of Nov.15. 1927 Pump/pulley does turn over very smoothly! Pulley diameter is about 13 1/4ā I do not see any breaks or crack. Neat skeleton style base! Has some neat monkey motion when the pulley is spinning! Great addition for a hit & Miss engine water pumping display or even just a good static display item. Please see pictures for the absolute best description. Since this item is old, used, and untested it is sold for parts or nonworking.
