Description: Offered is a very nice appearing original mens antique, yellow gold filled wrist watch.It would seem it started life as a small pocket watch, converted with wire lugs to a "trench watch" style.It is not branded so I do not know the make or model but I believe it dates to pre-1920.The overall condition is quite good with an excellent gold filled case finish. There is some minor wear on the end, otherwise the case is very nice. . . See photo # 6. See photos #7 & #8 for case dimensionsI am not a jeweler so I've not attempted to open the case but as of this listing, it sets the time, its running well and keeping decent time. I would be remiss if I didn't suggest a servicing as I don't know the service history, though it is presently functioning fine. The case is highly engraved yellow gold filled, the dial is also gold in color and engraved.The band is a tan leather. While it obviously is not the original band it does have some nice patina which is very much in character with this watch and quite useable.
