Antique, early to mid 19th century, well illustrated leatherbound book in overall very good condition. Exterior is clean and labels on spineface are intact. Front hinge is split but the front cover remains well and firmly connected to the rest of the book by way of the original binding strings and an inside clothbacked bookbinder's tape reinforcement at the gutter between the third pair of front endpapers (the white of this reinforcement tape shows through at the front cover hinge vaguely). There is also a clothbacked bookbinder's reinforcement tape at the gutter between the preface page and adjacent blank page. Interior of the book is overall bright with mild to moderate scattered foxing throughout. Book's binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book totals 320 pages followed by a brief 4 page publishers catalog of other books once offered in the early 19th century. Book measures approximately 6 3/4 x 4 3/8 x 1 inches and weighs about 3/4 of a pound.
