Description: Antique cast iron candlestick. 19th.c A classical female figure in veil holding the capital and sconce on a stepped and beaded platform which decorated with a wreath.Remnants of partial gilding. Early to mid 19th. century. German made. Berlin iron (Gleiwitz).Condition: In good antique condition. Signs of rust. Weathered surface throughout. Item looks better,than on photos. Very nice patina. Height: 23 cm Item buffed with Renaissance wax which has beenused by museums across the world to protect artifacts.
