Description: Description This is a great antique door that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It is made of pine and is painted. There are 2 glass panels at the top with 4 asymmetric wood panels below. The glass panels have Florentine or snowflake glass. The front of the door has Eastlake designs on the wood panels and fluting between glass and panels. Most hardware will need to be replaced. It measures 28.75 inches wide, 76.5 inches tall and is 1.5 inches thick. Overall it is in fair condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There was damage at the upper hinge so someone cut it out and filled it with a block of wood. It was very poorly done. The entire hinge side needs to be cut down, after trimmed it will be 28.75 wide. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
