Description: Lovely black ironstone transferware tureen with lid. Beautiful shape. Ironstone is nice and white with no crazing visible to the naked eye. Shiny glaze. A few tiny, old nicks around the edges of the lid but that's all the damage I can find. I'm not sure if a spoon or underplate came with this tureen but neither are included. A heavy piece -- weighs about 3.5 pounds. I had displayed this piece in my home for many years and now I am thinning my collections. Please ask if you have questions!
