Description: Dimensions: 16" X 16" X 31" One of my coolest finds to date! Own a piece of history. Produced by B.J. Harrison MFG Co., from Arkville, NY. It is a chair that has been documented in Civil War photos at various camp scenes. This chair still folds and unfolds with ease. From further investigation, I believe the seat or "carpet" as it's referred to, to be original. The seat is in fairly decent shape, but is ripped and worn (due to its age...)Beautiful wood used to make this chair, possibly maple? Please feel free to message me with any questions! Truly a very cool artifact.
