The print has a nice ornate border aroud it, with Bald Eagle at top and State of Iowa art vignette at bottom. The views are, at bottom, Charles City, Floyd County, Iowa, (this is amazing, a birds eye view) at top left Gazette Building, Davenport, Iowa, and at upper right, a Cresco and another Davenport view. Verso is, in the middle Osage, this is also a birds eye view print,, Mitchell County, Iowa, at top 3 Decorah views and a Ft Atkinson view, and at bottom, 2 Decorah and a Canoe Township view. Fascianting views. Very finely produced print , printed on thick fine paper. This is an antique print and not a reprint or reproduction. The print is from the very rare 1875 Andreas Illustrated Historical Atlas of the State of Iowa. The print is a fascinating and historic period look at this area at this time.
