Description: ​Antique American Victorian era carved and veneered rosewood parlor armchair, c1890s. Upholstered in an off white material with tufted rear and padded arms. Carved rosewood crest over a leaned back, long arms with carved front posts and standing on short cabriole style legs with a carved skirt.Chair is in good overall condition but as with most of these Victorian chairs, it has loss of veneer along the top edging. Wood is somewhat dull and could use a cleaning and polish.Measures 23 wide at arms X 44 inches high X 16.5 inches high for seat X about 36 inches deep with lean.
