Description: This scapular (and others) came to us via an estate sale many years ago. Research indicates that this scapular is part of an inventory owned by a gentleman who operated a mail order business in Scranton PA in the late 1800s that included many Catholic religious items. I previously sold many similar scapulars but these were a bit different because although they are "brown scapulars" the felt backing is not brown but a dark olive green and the stitching around each medal is not brown but a light pink. The lacing that attaches each medal is brown and stretches out to 16". They are new items (never used) but show some signs of aging such as fading, etc.
