Description: Pretty Antique Limoges Candlestick made in France by Blakeman & Henderson, ca. the 1890's. The candlestick is decorated with large bouquets of colorful flowers with green foliage and gold accents. Sections of the base and top are painted a pale green. There appears to be a smudge of blue paint on the base (see photo 5) which probably happened when the candlestick was painted. There also are some small black 'dots' around the opening (see photo 6 above), which happened frequently when older porcelain was glazed. Except for the smudge and dots, the piece is in very good used condition - no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. The candlestick is 3 1/2" tall and the base is 4" wide. I pack carefully, using lots of bubble wrap and am happy to combine items for shipping.
