Description: Antique Binoculars - Paris Sportiere - Army & Navy - WWI - with Case French made military issue during WWI, some wear on the covering in particular around the focusing wheel, the lenses are all fine - clear, no cracks, chips or haze. However, at some point in their life these glasses were dropped and hit on the bottom edge of the right eye tube - the lens survived in great shape but the metal rim took the blow and protected the lens. They are still fully functional and focus to a bright, clear image. However the image in the right tube is more oval than round. I tried to show the damage to in the last two photos. It does not affect the appearance of the glasses but it is a reality of these fine binoculars' long life. The original case is well worn and missing its top and strap. Study the photos carefully.
