Description: This is a nice hand plane it’s in great shape, considering its age. The very back of the soul has some metal that is mushroomed out a little bit. I think from someone hammering on it to adjust the blade. It is very minor and some sandpaper and flattening of the soul should clean it right up. No cracks or chips anywhere on the main body or on the frog. The lever cap has a couple small chips in it. The blade doesn’t have All of its life left in it, but it’s more than enough to use it for a few years every day. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition. Quite a nice piece and the handles on it or the crown jewels.
