Marked 1 1/2. My research indicates back in the day this was the type called "Hot Chisel or Hot Cutoff Hammer for use with Anvil & Forge. CONDITION & FEATURES: Original wooden handle - has minor cracks and has some play at the hammer head since it is loose.Steel hammer head has minor surface rust NOTE: See red circled area in several photos to shoe the chip damage to the sriking edge of the hammer head. Has the Horseshoe Atha Logo on the hammer head.Handle is in very good contition other than the loose fit / cracks at the insert area of the hammer head.
