Description: This gorgeous Art Deco Semi Flush Mount Ceiling Light has beautiful Deco details in the design of this fixture. Please look at the close ups, this light is incredible in its beauty. This light came out of an old theater in Iowa. It is very ornate and well designed, the bronze leaves and hand twisted metal around the edges add so much to the light. The cast iron pieces that surround the sockets, have an old copper wash as shown. The canopy also has the copper wash, see close ups. The copper wash does have wear. It is perfect for homes with low ceilings that would like to make a statement with lighting. The fixture is made of cast iron and bronze and was made in the 1920's. It has been restored, rewired, tested for safety and given a clear coat to protect the finish and enhance the richness of the light. It takes six Standard medium base Edison bulbs, up to 40 watts each. If you need more light, you may choose to use LED bulbs, which provide more light with less wattage and heat. The light is in great condition, other than the wear and patina on the finish.
