Description: Antique American Solid Oak 8 Day Mission ~ Arts & Crafts Shelf Clock ~ Serviced Description Here is a very nicely styled antique shelf clock made by the New Haven Clock Co. at New Haven, Conn., USA, pre WWl, around 1914. It has the original 8 day time and strike movement that has been serviced and is in good running and gonging conition. It counts each hour on an antique gong and announces each half hour with a single toll. The solid oak case is in great shape and is still in the original finish, which although aged, looks great. It measures 20 ½" tall x 12 ½" wide x 4 ½" deep. Most of the clock is original including the movement, finish, numerals, solid brass hands and pendulum. It comes complete with a key and the original pendulum. Payment Ebay makes it pretty easy to pay for purchases in just about any way you choose. It is nearly impossible to find one in "mint" condition. If a clock has damage from misuse, it will be noted. If a clock is sold as "in running condition," it means that we have test run it before listing it and feel confident that it will run for you. About Us Mainly, we buy, sell, repair, restore and collect clocks. Once in awhile we do offer other types of antiques and collectibles for sale, but mainly clocks are what we're about. We spend quite a bit of time traveling around the northeast buying clocks and clock parts, and many times we are able to buy large quantities from clock collector estates or clock dealers who are downsizing or closing out altogether.
