Description: This lovely scalloped grouse game bird plate is 8” in diameter. The edges are decorated with pink floral wreaths. It is unmarked on the back, but from my research I think the mark has worn off and that it might be a PM—Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf Bavaria. But I don’t know for sure. What has me unsure is the Moschendorf ones seem to have gold gilded rims and this one doesn't. It could also be a ZS Mignon, but again there is no mark showing this. I have seen this same game bird on other plates with very similar borders so maybe it is a repro of one of them. It has no chips, cracks or repairs. It’s in very nice glossy condition. Again, I can’t confirm the authenticity w/o any visible mark anymore nor can I verify the era. I just have to say it is from 1895-1949 which I know is a large range. This is why I am letting this plate go for much less than all the others I have listed. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
