Description: A late 19th century Chinese summer court hat and travel box. Conical hat constructed of woven bamboo and silk with twisted fringe detail and clear glass finial. In a conforming lacquered wood travel box. Some wear and minor damage, flake to glass bead. Hat is 8 1/2" high, box is 13 1/2" diameter x 12" high overall.
