Description: An antique folk art sampler featuring an array of farm animals, deer, birds, insects, etc bordered by typical numbers/alphabet/initials and a floral motif. It is dated 1837 with German writing, possibly PA German in origin. The sampler is in good condition overall considering age with typical surface soiling/toning in areas, scattered separation/scattered small holes, etc. It is housed behind glass in a vintage frame.
