Description: Signed Rare Art Deco plaque award medal: Hungarian Budapest Athlethic Association est. 1869 made in 1923 by Reményi József (1887-1977). Depicting a middle age history myth hero: Dugovics Titusz. The legend says he sacrified himself to pull a Turkish soldier with their flag to the deep from the castle top in 1456 at the Nandorfehervar victory against Ottoman army. The legend has been published by a famous italian historian: Antonio Bonfini (1427 or 1434 - 1502) in that time.
