Antique (1910s) Nippon Moriage 5-Piece Tea Set, Dogwood & Peony Blossoms, MINT

Description: This is a beautiful antique Nippon tea set from the 1910s, featuring delicate white and yellow dogwood and peony blossoms with soft greenery on delicate porcelain. The set includes 5 pieces: the teapot/coffeepot, lid, the creamer, the sugar bowl, the sugar bowl lid. The craftsmanship on this set is extraordinary. The gold moriage detailing is extensive and remains in excellent condition. The solid gold layers on the remains predominantly intact, with only a few places of wear on the handles. I have had this set evaluated to guarantee its authenticity (and provide my peace of mind). The porcelain is thin and translucent, the gold is the appropriate texture and is 'low reflection', the marks are original ones from the 1891-1921 period (the estimate given to me was 1910-1913) and the porcelain is not reactive to blacklight. This is an excellent tea/coffee set! There are no chips, cracks or meaningful signs of wear.
