Description: ANTIQUE 1907 ROCKFORD 14K GOLD FILLED POCKET WATCH-RUNNING -18S, 17j, GRADE 930 Click images to enlarge Description Offered for Sale is this Working Rockford Illinois Screw Back Pocket Watch with 14K Yellow Gold Filled Case (Guaranteed 20 Years). Based on my research of the movement serial number, the watch is a Grade 930. Made c1907 - Size 18, 17 Jewels, Open Face, Full Plate. I AM NOT a Pocket Watch expert and will describe what I see when viewing the watch. I cannot attest to the mechanical condition of the watch. I can simply state it's running and keeping time. Please ask any questions you might have and confirm my description. - Rockford Illinois Screw Back Pocket Watch, movement serial number on interior 710842. Based on my research that dates the watch to c1907 - Watch has a second hand and is Open Faced - Rear of case has a decorative design, no monogram - Interior lid of the case is marked Illinois Watch Case Co., Elgin USA, Guaranteed, Ramona, 20 Years Double Stock, 4305744. The number 5785-1288 are lightly scratched into the interior lid - Movement markings - 710642, 17 Jewels, R.W. Co., Rockford Ill., Adjusted Physical Size: Width 2" across Condition: - Running, Good Physical Overall Used Condition. Again, I have minimal knowledge of pocket watches so my condition report will simply be what I see. The Watch crystal (outer covering over the dial) displays light scratching and what appears to be uniform graininess that may be on the interior of the clear cover (not attempt has been made to clean the watch or take the outer lens off). The watch case displays scratching, tarnish and light wear in keeping with an item of this age. The movement area (what shows) appears to be clean with some visible scratching. The hour hand appears to be bent a bit. The screw back case closes are expected. Please see the pictures to view the condition of the items for yourself.
