Description: This set of two antique hand painted marriage portraits on wood depicts a man and woman in 17th century courtly attire. The paintings are small, but extremely intricate. Framed, they measure 8 inches in length and at their widest, 8 inches in width. Both portraits are mounted within decorative gold and glass frames with the portrait surrounded in mirrored glass. The portraits were produced sometime in the early 1900s, thus have sustained some damage. It appears someone tried to repair the woman's frame in a few areas and few pieces of the glass surrounds are missing, but the portraits themselves are in very fine condition. Both are sold as is, and only as a pair. Please message me with any questions or if you would like more pictures. Thank you!
