Description: Very good box for display.Not suited for constant use. As the lid does not fit very well in the grooves. Looks like the box has slightly expanded over the years and grooves on lid are worn down. So the lid tends to fall in when sliding open and close.Therefore will not work for a box that is in use opening and closing, unless some light repair is made.Lid can sit closed so present very well for display. Has much of its original paper labels intact which is very rare and makes the box much more interesting and display worthy.As can be seen the labels are not 100% complete but are not heavily damaged. Made in the United States between 1885-1910 Duryeas Satin Gloss Starch, manufactured by Corn Products Refining Company, New York, New York.
