Description: This is a gorgeous, small hand painted antique 19th century ROYAL WORCESTER porcelain FLAT BACK JUG, VASE or PITCHER. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. This PITCHER measures 5" high, 4 1/4" wide with a 1 7/8" diameter base. The soft, matte finished background of the pitcher is ivory, with a beautifully decorated floral design. The handle (a darker gold) as well as the upper and lower rims are gilded. The jug is marked with the Royal Worcester trademark stamp in purple ink with an "X" below, and "Reg. No. 29115, 1094", which dates this jug to 1886. A very sweet antique piece of fine English porcelain! Shipping is via priority mail and includes insurance.
