Description: Antique 1870s - 1880s Era Waterbury Double Dial Calendar #43 Parlor Mantle Clock Key - Not Present Pendulum - Present - Era Correct Movement - Original - Marked Waterbury- Time and Strike - Prior owner had the time strike movement cleaned and serviced about 2 months ago. But after he got it home and tried to put the pendulum on he broke the original suspension spring. This is a simple fix if you have a little knowledge or a clocksmith could do it for you easily, but that will need to be done. Strike side works as intended Calendar Movement - Is not in working order and will need to be looked it. Was not serviced when the prior owner had it in for service, so i dont know when the last time it was serviced mechanically IF EVER is the last 140 years Hands - Original - Steel Dial - Top is an older sweigert replacement paper dial - Bottom is an original Operating condition - Tested - please read clock movement section above.
