Description: Antique 1860s Victorian Taille D'Epargne Photo Locket Necklace Offering romantic gold filled antique multicolor enamel Taille d'Epargne locket.The front has a large red blossom at the top right (Hibiscus?) and small blue buds on the bottom left side (Bluebells?). Inside the locket are what appear to be small blue and white ribbons with a lock of hair underneath. Covering each of these are delicate crystal/glass covers held in place by two gold frames. A truly special keepsake locket... It is in very good condition and has lovely detailing on both the front and the back sides.There is a bit of enamel loss on the front but it doesn't detract from its beauty. It opens and closes as it should keeping the contents secure. The locket measures 1 1/4" long including the bail, by 1/2" wide and weighs 6.9 grams. It comes with an 18" gold filled chain.
