Fine binding (albeit somewhat worn): History of Europe From the Commencement of the French Revolution in 1789 to the Restoration of the Bourbons in 1815. by Sir Archibald Alison Bart. Published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1854. Ninth Edition. Hardbacks. Each volume around 350 pages, 13 cm by 19 cm (complete set spans about 30 cm on the bookcase) Acceptable Condition Some marks and scuffs to the covers as shown in the photographs. Rubs to the leather but hinges are intact. Three of the volumes (IV, V and VI) have brown staining to the covers which also affects some of the inner pages. Text remains readable. Wrinkling to the bookcloth on volume VIII and VII with some stains. There are brown water stains on several but not all of the plates.
