The front covers and first two pages of each volume are detached, but present with the book. All of the rest of the pages in all three volumes are well bound and easy to turn. Aside from the three front covers that have become detached, the rest of both volumes are in fair to good condition. I really don’t know much about , these books, but the author is well known. It looks like the volume from 1777 is about Zoroastrianism and very rare. these volumes were part of the evangelical and reform historical society, located at the Lancaster theological seminary, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. All 3 volumes are protected by sturdy, heavy duty, acid proof boxes. The library they came from list them as volumes I - III, But that isn’t necessarily what is on the title pages of the books themselves. You be the judge. the covers of all three volumes are flaky and shed tiny pieces of leather whenever handled. These are just for reading and study, not for looking pretty on the shelf.
