Description: Elaborately decorated polychrome pottery cylinder vase, having two large registers, both depicting a dignitary standing in front of an altar, all surrounded with fancy feathered elements. Upper band decorated with seventeen profile birds. Interior has a painted banded decoration. Overall scattered strong mineral deposits on the surface. Some shallow restored rim chips, otherwise intact. A beautifully decorated example.
