The Amsec B1500 floor safe has a piston-assist door that is made with 3/4-inch solid steel plate door. This safe has an additional spring loaded relocking device, activated by a punching attack, and the lock and re-lockers are protected by a large carburized hard plate. The door has a handle-activated locking mechanism consisting of three one-inch diameter locking bolts. Each one is drive resistant, chromed steel with a long throw. The door also has one piece of heavy duty dead bar behind the hinges to prevent removal of the door even if hinges are removed during a forced entry attempt.
