All tapes are sold strictly as collector’s/ display items with NO guarantee concerning their operating condition -- unless picked up in person. 8-track tapes were never intended to travel through the mail and rough handling can, on rare occasions, result in the tape un-spooling-- something over which I have no control. Unspooling is the reason a tape might go “Whump… Whump… Whump” rather than tracking smoothly—as God intended. For these reasons, 8-track tapes are sold “As-Is” and returns are not accepted. BX54
