Description: Beautiful iridescent art glass vase by Czech artist Igor Muller. The gold shell vase has applied purple tendrils, and circular foot, and smooth pontil marks. Igor Muller is a contemporary art glass artist in Bohemia in the Czech Republic. Igor was born in 1969 at Moravia, Czech Republic. He studied the art of glass making techniques in the prestigious Art and Industrial Glass Institute in Zelezny Brod. He worked in glass shops and factories and furthered his studies and expertise in the United States of America from 1994-1997, after which he returned to the Czech Republic. Then he started to build a small glass studio where he works to this day. He is focusing on historically correct replicas of old glass, frequently utilizing age old techniques and procedures. Measures approximately 9 1/2" in height and signed Muller under base. Condition very good.
