Description: Up for sale is my old Altieri Oval Opera Gig Bag. I used this throughout college and it served me very well, in fact it’s probably my favorite case. Due to needing to downsize, I switched to a smaller case which is the only reason I’m letting this go. The zippers are still in very good condition with a bit of paint that has worn off. Still smoothly working. The interior features a built in bocal case that can safely store at least two bocals. Each joint of the bassoon is held in individual compartments, which are also adjustable (see picture of Velcro on each compartment). Super convertible. The bocal holder snaps down and holds all the joints safely in place. There is a large exterior pocket that will fit your Weissenborn Method perfectly, with a small velcroed interior pocket for your reed case. This gig bag was used exclusively as a backpack, but if you would prefer to used the handles, the straps fit nicely into the strap pocket on the back. Just detach the bottom of each strap, tuck them away, and zip up the pocket. I truly love this case and cannot recommend it enough.
