Description: This is a RARE TRUSTEE'S COPY of the hard-cover 1976 book (see pictures) entitled ALMA COLLEGE: PINES, PRAYERS, AND PERSEVERANCE, THE EVOLUTION OF ALMA COLLEGE, written by Donna Bollinger. Alma College is located in ALMA, MICHIGAN. This book, 92 pages in length, contains a wealth of narrative and black and white pictures of Alma College--from the 1897 track team and old Wright Hall to the 1954 senior football players (with future coach Denny Stolz) and the Dow Greenhouse in 1961. What makes this book so rare is that it includes a separate message, dated October 13, 1976, to the Alma College trustees from President Swanson, explaining this book is a personal complimentary copy as part of Founders Day. It is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear or creasing from handling and storage over the past 47 years. There appears to be no handwriting in the book. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Alma College graduate, Alma area historian, or vintage publication collector in your life! Postage is $4.50. And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Sorry, NO international shipping. Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
