Description: This is a beautiful pastel portrait painting of a girl in a red cap by Albert Londraville (1922-2015). He studied under the famous Russian American Master, Nicolai Fechin, and was a MGM scenic artist who painted movie backdrops. Albert also studied at the Lukits’ Academy of Fine Arts and often painted on site (plein air). See his full bio on my website www.albertlondraville.com. This painting was purchased directly from the successor trustee for the Albert Londraville Trust. It is mounted in the original rustic frame. This large pastel painting measures 28”x22” (37”x31” framed). This pastel painting mounted under glass was exhibited in the Pasadena Art Museum (December 1955-February 1956) and the card on the back refers to lovers in Medieval romance based on Celtic legend.
