Description: I bought this at an auction last year but don’t really have the space to display properly. My guess is that Aladdin did not make this but it was probably done by a reseller, hardware store or otherwise, to showcase product, particularly chimneys as they can be hard to display when in boxes. I assume the longer rods were for chimneys and the shorter might have been for wick raisers or galleries. As for chimneys, “The Improved” marketing occurred around 1934. It measures 31.5 inches wide. Main section is a 2x4. Longer dowel rods are about 11.5 inches longer, shorter ones are about 4.5 inches long. Given the large and odd size, shipping will be expensive. If much less than what I’m charging, I’ll issue a credit.
