Or worse, the cork sticks to the cap threads and then breaks when peel it off. These cork gaskets won’t give you that problem. They peel off the backing strip easily. They self-center when inserted into the cap. And they really stick. Yet, they are easily removed. Just heat the top of the cap with a very hot hair dryer or heat gun and pry out with a sharp, pointed tool. When I do this, I heat the cap hot.
