Description: I'm selling a Akai 2 Motor Direct Drive / 3 Head System Closed loop double capstan auto tuning/auto tape selector dolby B-C NA System/DC Amplifier deck. Model GX-F71. This is untested but was told it was working but hasn't been used in years. I'm selling for my dad but we don't have cassettes anymore. It does turn on without any issue and lights up and if you click the buttons it does light the Dobly B, C, and change the C, and other Peak/VU lights. Please see pictures I tried to capture this. As for the door (also shown) looks like it came off the track/arm? It just falls open and nothing locks it in place, maybe an easy fix but honestly I have no idea. I'm selling for my dad since he's downsizing. Selling as is from a smoke free home and I cleaned off the service dust etc. I took a ton of picture so please see those. Selling it close to other "sold as is" decks but willing to entertaining serious offers/bids just message me.
