Aechmea Nudicaulis Rubra is a wonderful variant of its green cousin. The more direct light it receives, the redder it becomes. It withstands a lot of sun! Matures to about 12-14 inches in height. It is a great color to add to your garden. These grow really well up trees! I have included a couple of pics of that. This auction is for a single plant pup, similar to the plant shown in the last photo. Plants will grow to to around size seen in the rest of the photos. ***Please keep in mind that this plant has extremely sharp edges, so the mother plant tends to give the initial leaves on the pup some scars, until it emerges out from under her and is harvested. So, the initial outer leaves may be a bit messed up but the newer and emerging leaves will be perfect!*** Plants will be shipped bare root or no root, without soil.
