Adorable antique bisque, 9" tall, sockethead lady doll, c.1900, incised: D.8/O

Description: This wonderful, cabinet-size, 9" tall, very sweet, antique bisque sockethead child, c.1900, is incised:D.8/O Made in Germany (beneath crossed keys sign). She has pretty inset, blue glass eyes with upper & lower, finely painted lashes, sweet open mouth with row of tiny teeth, brown eyebrows and matching brown curly hair wig with original gold barrette. Her original, very fine quality, five-piece composition and wood body has slender shaped limbs with long painted stockings & silver hi-heel shoes. She wears a charming, antique coat with large collar trimmed in red and knitted cap over a long skirt, blouse and petticoat. She is in excellent condition and has no damages, no chips, hairlines or repairs (line on one ankle) and no stains or odors and is from a smoke free home.
