The varnish has been thoroughly removed, but since it was a sub-shaft, it has not been used much since purchase, so it is in very good condition. This is the shaft alone. Adam shafts may generally appear to be thick, but when ordering through New Art, I had it finished to an order with a tip angle of 12 mm, so you can enjoy a hitting feel that is not typical of ACSS. I also get the impression that there is less anticipation than with regular ACSS. This is just my personal opinion. I think the tap was a laminated type Kamui S (or Mori S), but Im not sure. You can still use it for a while without any problems, but feel free to replace it if you like. There are no noticeable knots, so I think it is good material.
