KMahjongg, AisleRiot Solitaire, HyperRogue, Tremulous are the games in the pictures. Many apps work, but some may not, or may "work" but have sound issues, or glitches - it's a free app store. There are thousands of apps to download and try. Linux is a different Operating system than Windows or Chrome. Most things work on this laptop with Linux, but we cannot guarantee ALL functionality works(linux may need additional drivers for some components). As a seller we are not responsible for quirks or oddities with Linux. You can try another version by creating a bootable installer(google Rufus create bootable USB for instructions). IF this flavor doesn't work for your needs, try one of the many dozens of flavors of Linux out there, or your preferred one - simply hit ESC at startup to get to the boot menu and boot to your USB drive. NOTE - 'fkeys' (volume, brightness) etc. are not mapped, *YOU* can google how to map them - (hint - GalliumOS keyboard layout). ChromeOS is 100% REMOVED(as these laptops are now end of updates from Google), new firmware has been installed, you can now boot most any OS(we have tested Windows 10(has no trackpad drivers, works ok with USB mouse; *COA is not included), and a dozen different linux variations. Ubuntu, Mint and Fedora seem to work the best. When new, the trackpads on these laptops were reviewed as "mushy" and not very good. A USB mouse is much nicer. Ubuntu Linux includes Libre Office, Firefox Web Browser and Mozilla Thunderbird for email. There is an app store with many more apps available to install. NOTE - this has a small 16GB hard drive, if you run out of hard drive space installing lots of apps, you're going to make this laptop unhappy. It is a great laptop for BASIC stuff, and not installing tons of apps. Any computer will be unhappy if you fill the hard drive up and leave no room. It has a M.2 short length SSD hard drive, YOU can replace it with a larger drive if your intended use requires more space - remove all bottom screws, remove bottom cover, 1 screw on SSD. Create a bootable USB with Rufus on a PC with your preferred OS and install by hitting ESC at startup to choose your USB stick. We are not responsible as a seller for someone who purchases and thinks this is a NEW $400 laptop, it is not. Please make sure you understand this works for basic web browsing, youtube, many apps in the app store, many other cool uses, but if you for example install every FPS game in the app store and wonder why it's out of hard drive space, and will now not boot - it's not our fault.
