Accuspray HVLP Turbine Pressurized 2 Quart Pot with Hoses and Pressure Gauge

Description: This is a new Accuspray 2 Quart HVLP Turbine pressurized paint pot. It uses air from the turbine to pressurize the paint and move it through the fluid hose to the HVLP gun and then the paint is atomized by the turbines main air pressure supply at the gun. This eliminates the need for an air compressor to pressurize the pot. Use of a 4 of 5 stage turbine is recommended for optimum performance. However, I tested this pot with and older Wagner 2 stage turbine and with an Accuspray 23i 3 stage turbine and it atomized and sprayed odorless paint thinner just fine. Odorless paint thinner is typically a milky white semi gel liquid that has a higher viscosity than regular paint thinner. Kind of like your lower viscosity enamels. I don't own a 4 or 5 stage unit. Unlike some of the other brands of these pressure pots, this one has a 10 psi gauge and comes complete with both the fluid hose and the flexible HVLP whip hose that connect the pot to the gun. With both the 2 and the 3 stage turbines the pot pressure was about 3 psi which was plenty to move and atomize the thinner with these smaller turbines. With thicker viscosity coatings a 4 or 5 stage turbine may be required or the coating may require some reduction. All the fittings for the hoses are there and the flexible whip hose has a female stainless steel quick connect to attach to a HVLP turbine gun. The 10 psi pressure gauge is there just for reference so you can see your pot pressure in real time. The amount of pot pressure you get is controlled by the air pressure your turbine generates which will be higher with 4 and 5 stage units.
