When using a clamp meter to measure current, one conductor needs to be clamped to obtain an accurate current value. If the power line is clamped directly, the clamp meter cannot obtain a true loop current value, due to the fact that the internal conductor currents will cancel each other out or superimpose currents in different directions. With the internal structure, the splitter separates the wires into individual, or 10-fold, current measurement windows through the measurement window. In this way, you can accurately and easily measure the current value of a single conductor in a sheathed power cord without damaging the sheathed power cord. At the same time, the splitter is also equipped with an additional changeover switch, when the measured current is relatively small, only uA or mA level, you can put the switch in the off (OPEN) position, put the multimeter in the current gear, insert the meter pen into the current test jack, and accurately measure small-signal currents through the multimeter, without damaging the power cord.
