Description: WELCOME TO MY LISTING! This unique Absolut Vodka Cooperstown Poster is a rare advertising piece for any collector of fan of the Swedish distillery. Photographed in 1997 by historic photographer Steve Bronstein, who was responsible for capturing many of the classic and iconic Absolut images used in the famous campaign, which grew to its greatest heights during the brand’s time at the House of Seagram / Seagram Americas. This original piece features a colorful design with the iconic Absolut bottle shape captured in a well worn vintage catcher’s mask, depicting a classic baseball image in a homage to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Dimensions: approximately 27.75” wide by 35.875” long, this is an extra large poster format that was not readily available to collectors. Created by the Absolut Company, this piece was never available to consumers for sale. Since it was created by Absolut and not a third party, the image quality is excellent and crisp and is a similar to having a magazine print ad blown up on your wall, times 100. Image on one side. On heavyweight, coated paper with a gloss sheen, the poster has crisp corners and no major folds in poster field. It was stored rolled, and will be shipped in a tube. In great condition, with the normal wear and tear you’d expect for a 27 year piece of ephemera. These posters were used as display pieces in liquor stores in 1997, but are now a perfect piece of artwork to frame and display in any man cave, she-shed, office, home bar or baseball sports memorabilia display.
