Description: AAFA Rooster Weathervane & Lightning Rod with Robbins Egg Blue Milk Glass Lightning Rod Ball! Mounted on Old barn Wood for Easy DisplayGreat Display Pop to this One! Best guess on age may be 1885-1900Approx: 46.5" H x 39.5" W, 8.25 lbsJust Reduced! This rustic gem just has the "LooK" everyone wants but is hard to find. Neat hand fashioned lighting rod & weathervane. We think the Rooster metal is tin or an older galvanized steel, the horizontal arrow & tail are iron we think (it takes to a magnet as does the rooster and three support bars attached to the wood), but the center post that runs through the ball may be aluminum as it does not attract to a magnet. This is mounted on old barn wood for simple display & at under 9 pounds is not overly heavy. The Robbins Egg Blue milk glass ball is approx: 5" & in pretty good shape as shown, but is missing lower metal collar ring (which can be found online for about $14 for a pair). If you are displaying indoors, you may not need the collar, but it would be better to protect glass if outdoors or in an area where it may spin. This item can be easily be taken apart and reassembled as shown in pictures. We will do so for shipping to save space & better protect item in shipping. We will wrap the glass ball in thick soft covering & may even a box inside with other items to protect it. Please read all printed information below before purchase. Please review all pictures taken for your consideration and use zoom feature if needed. Items with video provided may appear a little darker than actual due to our video capacity at this time. Photos should be closer to actual appearance. Please Read: See our Feedback & Buy with confidence. We ship with extreme care and all items are fully insured! We often take from 30-90 minutes packing more delicate & odd sized items to make sure your treasure is protected. We also photograph most items above $100 while packing in case a shipper were to ever damage an item (only one time in over 2,000 US shipped sales). For this reason, if an item is ever damaged, it will be the Buyer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping service and we can provide photos from packing to assist Buyers. The process is not difficult, but the timing of such does not allow adequate time for the item to be returned to us and then for us to proceed with a claim (chain of custody questions can arise as well on returned items due to double shipping and handling so it is just easier for Buyers). So again, as noted in listing, we do not offer returns. Sales tax is charged according to your state or country's regulations. Of course, there is free local pick up and we can meet to assist if you are near Indianapolis or driving through. We do this often. Signature confirmation will be required if your item is above $100 so please plan accordingly. We can make an exception if you do not want a signature confirmation, but keep in mind if an item is delivered & goes missing from your porch, mail box or other prior to you retrieving the item, shippers will not cover it and you would have to assume the risk. Also, FedEx & Others are beginning to require signature on items above $500-$700. Last, we have discounts with FedEx & eBay on shipping which do not always show up in eBay estimates on shipping. We try to refund what we can when there is a notable difference, but we do not know until we actually process the shipping order.
